Missing piece after cleaning gun

And next time, clean and reassemble only one gun at a time.

And inspect the gun for any loose parts that might fall out while being cleaned.

OP has seen people asking for the update and is just savoring the anticipation lol. I am kind of curious what it ended up being though. Kind of assumed it was from the Staccato HD. The spring that’s sits under the optic plate.

Last nite I started a post stating the OP had been on here 3 minutes at about 11:30 or so but forgot to hit post. Now checked and he was on here at 4:09 am.

I assume OP most likely figured that it was from shortly after making his post, and figured its too late to reply now.
That wave spring is definitely from a handgun light, probably a TRL-1.
 
Got me thinking, which is worse- finding an extra part you didn't realize you missed or looking for a part you can't find?
 
Definitely missing a part you can’t find! Having an extra piece is a puzzle to solve. Even is a bystanders, we were entertained enough to eagerly wait for the solution of this puzzle!!
