Modernizing the M9

I just snagged a full M9 for $570. Fixed front sight but still a whole gun. Sheesh those slides are expensive.

Yea, I paid $550 OTD. Optics planet and Midwest have them from time to time, a bit cheaper. Vertec slides, I believe, also have dovetail front sight and can be scored for around $350

that’s a bit better, but add a barrel and recoil junk you might as well get an entire pistol.

My m9a1 ended up around $800 after rebate ( for rebate choose $150 beretta bucks)
Bought from buds for $690
 
$570 is my OTD. So still not bad. Solid gun.

Is there anything worth getting from the Beretta store? I'm not even sure if they'll ship anything to CA.

Lots of swag, parts and random stuff if you're into that. Worst case ship to someone out of state and forward it

I used beretta bucks to get inox barrel and extended mag release during one of the 25% off sales. That was before Jan 1st tho
 
When Beretta moved their factory to Gallatin they produced a bunch of blem slides and sold them off. These were complete slides. Got my Vertec for around $170 back then. Took a bit to figure out what was the blem. Turned out the right side slide serations were machined on the wrong location. Mine also had the bad firing pin but I was able to replace it, along with the "G" mod. Still have my stock OEM slide.

Bad firing pin? That's more than just a blem. Still, not bad
