Moving to California what off roster would I regret not buying?

You'll get any one of the flagship Sig products for about $1,000-$1,500 cheaper purchasing via a free state:
  • P211
  • P226 XFive Legion or Reserve
  • P320 Reserve
  • P365 Legion
Any high quality AR-Pistol pulls off the same. Easy fixes for making them compliant listed in the comments.

So either buy:
1. Compmag and have whatever accessories you want minus vertical grip = magazine release can't be used
2. AR Maglock/Kingpin and have whatever accessories you want minus vertical grip = modified mag release where the kingpin opens receiver
3. Fingrip (B5 Fin Grip is a good one) OR Juggernaut Tactical grip + Strike Industries fixed stock stop + Muzzle brake/no muzzle device = Can have normal mag release
Featureless is the only compliance mechanism that cannot have a vertical foregrip, mag locked or fix mag can

Left CA several years ago but things didn't work out here for the kids so we're moving back.

I didn't have to deal with the roster in my state so I've been just buying things as I find fit. Before moving back, I wanted to make sure I use my freedom to buy all that I can and if anything it'll save me from the 20% tax in hearing about.

So if you were me, and moving to CA, what would you buy?
Staccato XC and some stripped AR pistol lowers. Bul Armory if you can swing one.

I would say anything you KNOW will not get added to the roster. I'm not a fan of Glock but they will never make the changes to their guns to be added to the roster. CZ also seems like they're not bending to the will of Newsom and Bonta. I wouldn't personally get non-CA versions of guns that are on the roster that just seems pointless to me
