Need recommendations for new pistol

I’m looking to buy another pistol I’m not to sure on which one I currently got a Glock 19x and a 43x. I was looking into getting a fn 509 any recommendations before moving to California because I know you can’t buy half the guns over there. No sig recommendations budget is less thank 1k I’m open to the idea of any caliber.

get as many glocks as you can later sell to fund what you want, keep it "cheap" and make out like a bandit, look at the stupid prizes here.

I'd recommend a metal framed SA or DA/SA hammer fired pistol since you already have 2 polymer striker fired pistols.

For under $1k, maybe a Beretta 92 XI or GTS.

Personal preference but, maybe a S&W MP HD steel model or a CZ Shadow 2. All depends what you’re going to use it for. Self defense, competition, range toy.

Buy anything you know you can and know you want before moving, just to avoid the pain in the ass it is here. If you have any interest in a 1911, get it out of state. Someone is currently selling a $900 SA Ronin for $2200. CZ is largely off roster. I came across and tuned up an FEG Hi Power, but for the money, I'd way rather have the SA reproduction. The LCI/MDS requirement really limits what you can get in a classic hammer fired pistol. Most manufacturers don't bother with modifying their most iconic designs. (I can get behind some form of sensible gun control, but this is just petulant and inane.)

Most mainstream striker fires are on the roster here, but their off-roster variants are more desirable for lack of LCI/MDS If you care for Glocks, get one before moving. There's a G17 Gen.5 selling for again, $2200.

Century arms Romanian imported Draco; 7.62x39. If you can, one of each size. If only one, then go with full size as that one can be most suitable for tanker boy duty. The mini and micro are more of PDW concept pistols. You’ll need to put a fixed mag system into it before coming into the state such as a comp mag.

the CZ P-10 variants look like they'd be a good option for you with your budget, and like with gen 5 & 6 glocks, if you decide they're not for you in the future, you should be able to find a private buyer easily who will buy it off you at cost (and then some)

Good. I also havnt seen any PSA krink clones pop up on the market yet. The 5.56 and .300 blk out will probably need to be brought in as a receiver; removing the bolt out. I also havnt seen any psa akv 9mm pop up yet either; also would need to be dros as receiver with the bolt out instead of fully assembled firearm.

Have you stocked up on ar pistol receivers yet? Or out of state it’s still technically an other.

Another option I havnt seen around are the newer 3rd gen Kriss vector pistols; only have seen 1st and 2nd gen. Maglatch makes a fixed mag system for these.

beretta pmx (modern polymer tec 9 replacement) still hasn’t popped up, no fixed mag set ups exist for now, so will need to be brought in as receivers, dros here as receivers; with the bolt out.

Another easy gravy options to stock up on, similar to ar pistol recievers, are v-Mac m11 stripped pistol receivers. You can build your own originally semi auto, California compliant full size 9mm m11 pistol with a NON-threaded barrel; for home defense since heavier steel frame pistols are the new jazz.
