What does "Alloy" mean? The PDP has a steel or plastic frame. Judging by the photos, the Cali version gets a plastic frame for $800…

when i look up “pdp alloy frame” it keeps showing me steel frame? is this the steel frame that is getting added to roster? i’m reading that steel is technically an alloy? but when i hear alloy i think of aluminum?

The PDP models with polymer frames and those with steel frames have different slides, and they are not interchangeable!

I'm confused by "alloy" too, I think we are getting polymer.

Edited to add: The best way I've found is to go to the "Recently added" website: https://www.oag.ca.gov/firearms/certified-handguns/recently-added

Click on the "Model" link for the pistol you're interested in. Copy the full model information (select then control-C).

Go to your favorite search engine, manually type in the name of the manufacturer, then paste (Control-V) in the model information you copied from the Recently added website.
