Some of you may have noticed the new Articles tab:
This section is for members who want to contribute to ongoing cases or write articles on specific topics. It’s separate from the forum on purpose. The goal is to make it easier to maintain living documents for cases and provide more factual, organized information over time. There’s a little overlap with Resources right now, but I’ll likely merge or clean that up as this evolves.
Articles can now have owners who add contributors or co-authors to help keep sections updated. With enough interest, we can start building a solid, centralized list of ongoing cases. If you’re interested in helping with that, speak up and we’ll get it rolling. Articles will live under the Articles tab, and discussion can happen in the appropriate discussion area.
I’ll be adding more custom fields as more authors come onboard, and I’m happy to work with anyone who wants to help shape this. Consistent contributors will be eligible for a Content Contributor badge, which extends edit time and unlocks some additional perks (details coming).
If you want to help educate others and keep these documents current for the CA 2A community, jump in and volunteer. The number of active cases is limited, so this should stay manageable. The structure will continue to improve as we go.
We’ll also be pulling in feeds from other 2A sites to surface relevant updates. If there’s a source you think we should include, drop a comment.
