New glock “V” model, gen6, CA MOS leaked on GSSF prize list?

Just a guess, but I suspect the V will be exactly the same as the generation five but without the capability of having a switch. So just basically slightly different.

Ok but what about the CLI with the warning label? Make that standard too? Youre saying Glock should only make guns that comply with CA's crazy laws. For everyone in every state. What about military and LE? They dont get a choice? CA anti-2A politicians decide what their procurement requirements are? Thats assinine.
No warning label; I would rather just black nitride the CLI part or the whole slide just to get rid of the wording.

Very similar to the Hellcat Pro. The P365 has no lettering on it, nor color. It's probably the closes to having no LCI I have come across.
The p365 has lettering on it because that's required however the lettering is ingeniously placed on the optic plate which gets quickly discarded.

Wow, you're right! Its been so long since I put an optic on, I forgot about the writing on the plate. Kind of evil genius lol.

Yeah I'm surprised the new m&ps didn't go that way, they put the writing on the barrel instead. Still better than the slide though

LOL that's a cruciform. It looks the same.

What immediately sticks out to me is the newly raised areas around the striker channel, which would block the wedge a switch uses to hold down the cruciform sear.
Notice how it doesn't show the ejection side of this supposed leak?

My guess this leak is BS, they don't want to show the non-existent LCI on their self-engraved V glocks.

The google drive album shows the ejector and slide serial. (Looks like the same subtle “LCI” protruding extractor we had since gen3 to me. Whether it’s CA compliant is another story.)

4 different sources seem to corroborate this info and timeline, including Lenny from glockstore 3 days ago saying they’ll post a video breakdown any day now. Photos above show 19V and 17V internals.
Doesn’t seem fake to me.

I am unable to see any differences in that frame/trigger housing pic....might be the old eyes. But my old eyes do see the same numbers on the trigger and that ejector that are on a gen 5.

Ooof fingers crossed the CA DOJ will accept that as a fixed model and it can be added back to the roster 🤞

That would be awesome. Otherwise, the V looks to still have a cruciform-style trigger bar, which is referenced in the ban. However, I wonder if the redesign now complies with the law because even though it still has a cruciform trigger bar, it is no longer "readily" convertible into a "machine gun" with a "converter" replacing the backplate:

16885.

(a) As used in this part, “machinegun-convertible pistol” means any semiautomatic pistol with a cruciform trigger bar that can be readily converted by hand or with common household tools, as defined in Section 4082 of Title 11 of the California Code of Regulations, into a machinegun by the installation or attachment of a pistol converter as a replacement for the slide’s backplate without any additional engineering, machining, or modification of the pistol’s trigger mechanism.
Even though the V retains a cruciform trigger bar (so it meets the geometry part of the definition), the statute requires both a cruciform bar and that the pistol be readily convertible into a "machine gun" by installing a pistol converter as a backplate replacement without additional engineering or machining. If the V cannot accept a converter at all, it fails the “readily convertible” gate and therefore would not meet the statutory definition of a “machinegun-convertible pistol.”

Lol these are NOT hitting the roster. If someone has proof they are feel free to share it but it’s a gen 5. Glock isn’t going to do the work

I don’t think there is proof for either argument, going to be or not going to be on the roster. My hope is that they never bothered because they had Gen 3 on the roster and they still sold here. Now that they don’t have anything to sell here, maybe they’ll put the effort into getting something new on the roster.

The way I read AB1127 was that if they took the Gen 3 GLOCK and modified it to no longer be easily convertible that new modified Gen 3 gun could be placed back on the roster without having to go through the normal testing and have the newest requirements like LCI, and Magazine disconnect.

I believe that GLOCK thinks that they can say those issues have been addressed in the new Gen V, and they’re going to try and swap that for the Gen 3 on the roster, but I don’t think that’s going to fly.

Only time will tell.
