I love the Vytal palm swell Kraken grips which are normally installed on my CZ SP-01. I have some in two-tone red and black, but I'd also seen emerald specimens which are no longer offered. I find the lack of an emerald green to be a glaring omission, because Vytal has done it before and they were gorgeous.

Determined to find some emerald (not ODG or Neon green) anodized grips in a pleasing pattern, I Googled and found Stay-Tech. This is a small company in Slovenia. Not only do they produce a fantastic emerald color, they have an innovative weight system which mounts inside the grips to offer 100 grams more mass. This should provide more ballast against felt recoil. The small steel plates fit perfectly into compartments in the grip, with provided low-profile double-stick tape to keep them in place.

I will measure the weight difference between Vytal and Stay-Tech grips this weekend, after I try out the gun with these new grips and a new CGW barrel bushing I've recently installed.

I still want a set of Vytal grips in emerald green (regular or two-tone) as I love the Kraken Palm swell look and feel, but I can't wait to try the Stay-Tech grips!
