Hi All,

Joined way back when I saw the thread on r/CAguns, but have been lurking on and off since then, not really commenting much. Also a convert from calguns where I also occasionally posted, but mainly lurked. Now that GAFS is gone, will probably be more active.

Own a whole smorgasbord of stuff, I'm a bit ADHD until I find my Goldilocks, My favorite shooter is my CZ SP01 with a IM slide and a 508T up top, but I'm a big fan of the micro/compact guns and you'll usually catch me practicing with something smaller like the P238 or P365 as those are my dailies. Just picked up a Glock 19.3 during the whole panic buy thing, but the grip angle is bothering me more than I'd like to admit so might just pawn that one off to the wife.

Looking forward to seeing what this place has to offer!

Howdy folks was on old site for nearly 20 years. Inland Empire. I like to shoot the BLM land that still exists out here

Hi, found this site thru a shooting buddy, cant believe I have slept on this site for so long! Was using Calguns for a ling time but its just not reliable so happy to make the switch. Thanks CAGuns!

I was always skeptical of the site, but a few friends let me know its been solid and growing strong. Never saw the reddit, I'm finally coming over and using the same username from calguns. Been very very long since, but I felt I just had to come back to the fun of all things firearms related and general conversation. Look forward to meeting you all

No sure what you mean exactly but we are not affiliated with the Reddit Group.

Welcome, glad you're with us!

I read a few new users talking about reddit and I have no idea what it is, I assumed caguns was started there or affiliated. Now I know, thank you for clearing that up. I just know I've been on calguns for a long time, life got busy, tried to go back on calguns and had no idea it disappeared and now here I am as a new member! I'll definitely read more of the "new member/get started" guide so i dont look like a fool.

Glad to be here and thank you!

Welcome back to the thrill of firearms... It's easy to make that assumption, so don't worry. We hope to see you around and thanks for posting!

Hello!

I’m an east coast transplant, new to CA. Most of my range time is spent out in the desert north of Antelope Valley. One thing about me is that I hate to follow the crowd… but gosh darn it I LOVE my G19!

I have never heard of that concept but now I’m intrigued. I will be checking that book out! It’s been a few years now but I’m from the Boston area. Go pats!

Hello. I was an old calgun member and stumbled across this forum accidentally. I like them all but custom build my own ARs 15s and 10s, love sig, but personally more accurate with a Glock.

Truthfully, I prefer my EPC.
So Cal ranges : Raahagues is the only one I like

BLM or bust….
Appreciate the warm welcome

Peace,
Al

Hi there, I'm one of the many recently licensed CCW holders in the SoCal area. I also own a small assortment of milsurp/C&R and a few AR clone builds. Always looking to expand my interests in the hobby further.

Hey hey!
Visit the CAguns reddit page every night, never post anything, thought I'd give this a try.
I live in the central valley, and visit my local range Stage Stop about once a week.
I enjoy shooting my max 9 and usp45
Let’s hit the range one day! Also from CV in Fresno/bakersfield

Hello all!

Joined via a recommendation from a friend who started me on Calguns years ago only to find out not ago the website 9 times out of 10 just didnt work :(

Thankfully though most of what I own is thanks to Calguns years ago but once I found caguns, I finally achieved peace of mind and an actual working website lol.

Im from the san gabriel valley and like many out here, my go-tos are Route 66, the Angeles shooting range(Long distance steel), and when it was open(and hopefully reopens), the 1N09 blm land.

It may be hated by most and no one's first pick but I cant deny how much I love shooting my gsg 522 lol. Then comes my Tikka T3, then glock, and currently saving for a Hellion! :)

Limped over here from the husk of calguns (formerly; JNS) and have an emphatic appreciation for combloc war horses but starting to look into precision shooting.

As for Youtube channels: Forgotten Weapons, InRange, Ultimate Reloader, and recently Eric Cortina.

Mostly go to Burro or Angeles.

Hi, I’m glad to join the group and keep up on what’s going on with gun ownership in CA. I just saw that the Sig p239 went off the roster which sucks, because I wanted to get one. I hunt mule deer in the Sierras and might start hunting birds if I can find the time.

Hello CA Guns forum and fellow 2A enthusiasts. I joined up after finding the forum by accident. Where did CALGuns go? Ha, nonetheless. Lifetime California resident navigating silly laws like the rest of my fellow Californians. Thanks for having me!

Frank

Hello! Came here from Calguns after finding out it closed down. I was on there for about 16 years give or take, and excited to see how this new forum continues that legacy. Looking forward to connecting more with my fellow Californians on new laws, firearms, etc.

Hey guys!

Joined a few days ago and this site is nothing short of amazing! It’ll take me some time to learn my way around all the different tabs and sub-tabs but for now I got the basics down. Anyway, I’m slowly getting back into this hobby after years of being out and I’m looking forward to future PPTs! 🙌🏼
