Announcement New Feature! New: Request feedback right from your DMs

Thanks to all the recent support. I've been getting busy with our new Mac hardware to build some features that you've been asking for.

We’ve made it easier to ask for feedback after a deal.

One of the biggest problems has been finding where to leave feedback, especially for buyers. Sellers already have the listing to work from, but buyers usually have to do a little more digging.

You’ll now see a Request feedback button in a Transaction feedback box in your DMs.

Once you’ve finished a deal:

1. Click Request feedback.
   1. 
2. Choose I was the buyer, I was the seller, or We traded.
   1. 
3. Paste the listing link and click Insert feedback link.
   1. 

The link goes into your message draft. You can add a note, review it, and send it when you’re ready. The other member clicks the link to leave feedback for you.

A listing link is required so the feedback stays tied to the transaction. On mobile, the box is below the reply editor.

Give it a try after your next deal. If something doesn’t work right, especially with trades, let me know here.

You know, they still might... BUT you have a better chance now...

Also forgot to mention I added links to upgrades, merch, and tip jar on Closed/Marked Sold/Post Feedback pages...

I just tried it but the original ad was no longer available. Would be cool if you could request based on/ linked from feedback you previously left. Not sure how that would work on the technical side. appreciate the update, either way!

It should still be available. We haven't deleted ads yet, I'm working on that.

It works.
It doesn’t have the drop down feature for classified ads related to the parties as the feedback page does. I just went back and copied the URL of the classified; then returned to the DM.

I left feedback for a seller on a p365 in August. That post no longer exists for some reason

Edit: if the original link is broken or showing an error, go to the profile of the member you are requesting feedback from and click the link from the feedback you left for them. Worked for me.

I though I DM'd with my seller, but it may have just been a reply through the comments and then a text since is doesn't appear in my DM search. I think we need a way to select the buyer/seller outside of a DM.

You can still go to their profile, if they mark it sold then the feedback is removed, so you're trying to back track.. You can still go to the listing before its marked sold

Yes they marked it sold and I gave them FB, they said they would reciprocate but didn't. I suppose I could just reach out the old fashioned way and ask or is that too "boomer" of me?
