I'm more interested in the Canik.
Saw the $299 deal River City had on Shield 1.0 and figured that was about right for what it is stock.
Price of a carry size gun with a factory optic cut and decent trigger shouldn't be over $500.

The roster was a nothing short of a pay to play scheme. How this has not been struck down is beyond me.

I'd wager that the Rose is meant to offset all the other guns whose primary market is men. But a "Roscoe" name would be funny.

The roster was a nothing short of a pay to play scheme. How this has not been struck down is beyond me.

It was a hell of a way for cops to start a side hustle. I remember that guy that got busted. He was always hanging out at this store ready to ppt off roster guns. Damn near had his own dedicated case. Why even be clocked in, in uniform, if you post up in a store with your radio off.

Looks like this model will come with a lockbox. So we are going to have to pay an 11% tax on a lockbox too. Not the best move.
