Forum area for national firearms legislative & court cases. Where is it?

Been wanting to build this out, but it’s hard to get people to start/update it. I have a whole section that can be developed once I find some content volunteers to work with me on it.

We have a framework for 503(c) orgs that could leverage this for case progress that keeps discussion from content separate.

In the menu its Resources.

It might be time to establish a more defined ontology for both Federal and California law. Going to need one or more of the smart guys to help, for sure there's abundant talent here. By creating a "map" first, posts relevant to various topics/issues will live in those identified threads. Also need a strategy on how to identify old versions and always refer to the new (but able to read old stuff too). Forum whack-a-mole it seems? I think it would draw various law firms fighting the great fight- as they would be able to announce their achievements to a target audience and we get a "horses mouth" reference.
Feelings, I wants/wish, coulda woulda would go somewhere else.
Just the facts ma'am, only the facts.

They are competing with you for $.

At best (and it's highly unlikely), they'll post links here to their website.

They have the same struggles as anyone else (manpower, funding, etc.).
Most likely, members here will have to post the links.

Yeah man, thanks. Just showing off from my old retail web building days (never a coder, more architectural/structure). Happy I get to use big words occasionally, made sure to look it up before posting it LOL.

I've suggested it before, FPC and CRPA are obvious choices (as are others). Now that there are impressive members, might be time to talk with them about taping in and post press releases here. A fair exchange would be letting them post essentially an advertisement for members and maybe "guest appearance" occasionally for group chat Q&A?

That defeats the purpose. You might as well use defaults or disable it. The whole reason it's custom is to give you granular control.

Here is less based on emotions and more based on whether you break rules. We'll do our best. Hopefully so far its acceptable. We've added 2 mods to the team and so far I think they're doing an outstanding job!

3 Options on improving the Ammo Classifieds

Option 1: Most Preferred
I think it would be nice to break up the ammo classifieds into 3 categories.
Pistol Caliber
Rifle Caliber
Shotshell

If you decide to do it, it would be great to have the following choices in the shotshell category:
12 Gauge
16 Gauge
20 Gauge
28 Gauge
410 Bore
Other

Option 2: Still good, but not the best
Change (expand) the current 12/20 caliber choice to:
12 Gauge
16 Gauge
20 Gauge
28 Gauge
410 Bore
Other Gauges (24/32)

Option 3: OK, it's still an improvement
Change the current 12/20 caliber choice to:
12/16/20/28/410

Should you decide to make a change, I would mirror the decision in the Private Shotgun Listings if possible.

The best i do do was a hybrid of 2 & 3 split it out so its a little better for shotgun. Unless I split it out completely it's not going to look good.
