NFA doesn't apply to suppressors/sbr or sbs, does anything change for us in California?

CA does NOT have a ban on threaded barrels.
There are very specific situations where a threaded barrel may be a FEATURE of an assault weapon, but there is no specific threaded barrel ban as a fixed magazine eliminates the features ban on semi-auto pistols.
Almost any non-semi-auto-pistol can have threaded barrels without any assault weapon issue.
All rifles and shotguns can have threaded barrels.

Meant common handguns, not long guns or AR pistols. You can own threaded barrels but the minute it’s installed you are a felon. Essentially a ban, but thanks for clarification

This is not totally useless for CA. This could potentially allow VFG on AR pistols shorter than 26” without going the AOW route

I think technically you could still own full autos until the 1990s when the machine gun laws were codified.

It'll take a while but once all the current cases move through most likely the bans will be struck down unless somehow Democrats take over everything
