I did not know that was happening. I just started dros on a 442 pro.

I spoke directly to the Lipseys Exec in charge of the UC project and he told me they had submitted it to the DOJ and were just waiting for approval.

A good amount of handguns just hit the roster today. Great way to end the year! Finally the long awaited Shadow Systems and some more Rost Martins in new flavors.

I’m waiting on the S&W Ultimate Carry J-Frames to hit the roster. That’s what I’m looking forward to. It’s nice to see so many new offerings hit today though.

This looks like a great J frame but the ammo looks very expensive. Not sure how easy it will be to find too.

There was an update on this by the attorneys fighting the legislation. Apparently the DOJ is rejecting models if the gun does not have the proper engraving for the loading trigger indicator, font size, and incorrect markings. I would still have some guns rather than none but its still BS.

This is not new, they have been nitpicking the Loaded Chamber Indicator labeling for a while:

Specifically, the “explanatory text” must be “incorporated within the chamber load indicator or adjacent to the chamber load indicator” (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 11, § 4060, subd. (d)(1)(A).) The [firearm’s] explanatory text is not adjacent to the chamber load indicator. Additionally, the “‘loaded’ indication, that portion of the chamber load indicator that visually indicates there is a round in the chamber” is not “visible on the firearm from a distance of at least twenty-four inches” when there is a round in the chamber. (Id. at § 4060, subd. (d)(1) (E).) As a result, the “text and/or graphics and the ‘loaded’ indication [do not] together inform a reasonably foreseeable adult user of the pistol, that a round is in the chamber, without requiring the user to refer to a user’s manual or any other resource than the pistol itself.”

Yeah, if you’re going to grab a 32 revolver, you either need to reload or have your FFL03+COE to order online because you’re not finding it in the store.

I can get it through 2 of my 3 regular shops. I have been looking into reloading though. I already have a k frame in 32 mag from the 90s.

Just an observation.

ive noticed a steady flow of additions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays each week since the beginning of the year.

Then we get 1 smart gun and nothing else for two weeks. Fingers crossed, I'm overthinking this.
