I didn't say I am gonna wear it while deadlifting
It’s in a nylon bag. It’s not rigid and while it’s unlikely it’s not impossible that the bag is manipulated in a way that allows the trigger to be pulled.
There are zero reasons to be advocating for such a setup given there are alternatives
I’m probably gonna get one, even if wearing one means all the gun guys know I’m carrying.Obscura sling bag finally back in stock after months.
Never thought I’d go for it but for $100 shipped it seemed nice to have the option for long drives and the gym or wearing gym clothes
I ordered one and the stabilizing strap for when I really get active with itLike the Obscura bag! You can use any of your normal Kydex holsters with it, plug and play.
It's a little big but I thought the 3L bag limited me a lot on what I could carryI’m probably gonna get one, even if wearing one means all the gun guys know I’m carrying.
What I like about this product is the stout quality, and the fact that I’m still technically “concealing” the firearm. The 5L bag is huge though. Not really for me
Ordered 5, but it seems on savior site 5l looks a little smaller than on your picture. I might get both and chose whichever works better. Echelon 4.0c or xmacro are the biggest I want to fit. According to measurements they barely should , will seeIt's a little big but I thought the 3L bag limited me a lot on what I could carry
Falco holsters and conceal carry bags existed long before off-body carry was a fab. Guess how Falco holster and conceal carry bag users placed their conceal carry in their bags? That’s not an argument
You should check out their range bags. I basically replaced all of my gun bags with savior products because they hold up to weekly range runs / BLM land and they feel pretty well made for the price. With my PDP compact, 2 15 round mags loaded, wallet, keys, airpods, airtag it was heavy enough to be noticeable but not even close to being uncomfortably heavy. The weight makes sense because the material is super nice and strong, everything is double or triple stitched. I am kinda shocked because we are just so used to mass produced slop products now the fit and finish blew me away
Dedicated purse holsters are neat and not as bulky as edc holsters. Ones from Crossbreed pretty affordable (they run 25% off quite often) I have a few of theseLike the Obscura bag! You can use any of your normal Kydex holsters with it, plug and play.
I’m glad you conceded the point that carrying a gun with an exposed trigger in a bag is stupid and negligent.Falco holsters and conceal carry bags existed long before off-body carry was a fab. Guess how Falco holster and conceal carry bag users placed their conceal carry in their bags?
What's your argument? Guns kill people over people kill people? Have you used a conceal carry bag before? Conceal carry pocket in these bags are damn narrow enough and has semi-hard plate/backing between cc pocket and main pocket that nothing is going to set it off unless deliberate.
been using one for over 3 years. Dirty af but holding up great, have double one for rifles too. Pretty heavy stuff, but quality is 2nd to noneYou should check out their range bags. So for example this range bag: https://www.saviorequipment.com/products/specialist-range-bag
it comes with 3 pistol sleeves and more are available to buy. So I keep all of my pistols in them and put them in my safe. When it's time to go to the range, I just grab the sleeve for whatever gun I want to take and put them in the bag and leave. The side pockets are large enough to hold electronic muffs, the mag pocket is big enough to hold enough mags for a few guns, and the main compartment is large enough to hold 3 pistol sleeves and like 10 x 50 rounds of ammo boxes.
I haven't found another range bag in this price range that has the same build and features.
Why would you buy another holster for no reasonDedicated purse holsters are neat and not as bulky as edc holsters. Ones from Crossbreed pretty affordable (they run 25% off quite often) I have a few of these
CrossBreed® Modular Holsters

China and VietnamThe Savior website just says "imported". Can someone who owns one of their bags and check the tag to see if made in China or elsewhere?
the reason - they are slim, might not be an issue with Obscura (will see today), but in something like this makes world of the difference. https://vertx.com/products/everyday...F4_0bgaqYqxxwbh_1WZTolL4Sqifkp-9tKE_YyL18j1peWhy would you buy another holster for no reason
All of their stuff is made in China and/or other parts of Asia to my knowledge. The Savior website just says "imported". Can someone who owns one of their bags and check the tag to see if made in China or elsewhere?
Try tightening it up a bit on the strap. I don't have the other extra strap but I've used it 3 days working in the field and no big issue with movement. I should probably remove my other wedge haha, I have two wedges in there xD however I leave it in case I want to switch to IWB.Got my bag, it’s made in Singapore. Initial impressions are it’s incredibly well made, and not as large as I thought it would be. Draw is intuitive and very fast.
One downside is due to my holster choice, everything that makes the Tenicor the GOAT IWB holster works against this setup, and it’s pretty bulky when using the Savior wedge to counteract the VELO wedge. The other downside is weight, you can feel the weight far more than an IWB setup, and without the stabilizing strap it moves around a lot if you’re bending over or engaging in any physical activity.
Overall an excellent option, but won’t be my default choice.
