Hi Gunners,
Finally got these 2 little pups out of Kali jail. I've had 6 delays on my last 6 DROS apps and with the 1 in 30 bs along with my summer gig, it put me way behind. Just repainted both stocks FDE and did a little touch up on the metal bits. The upper is a Squires-Bingham (original manufacturer), the lower is an RIA (Armscorp) both discontinued. The stock profile is slightly different amongst other things, and the Squires has a shell deflector. The Squires muzzle device and the RIA aren't the same, and the Squires was painted shiny black all over while the RIA looks parked or flat. They both look much better with a contrasting stock. In the grand scheme of .22 collecting these are relatively hard to come by and the mags are hen's teeth hard to locate. There are 15's and 50 round drums out there somewhere. These both are 10's. They're pretty cool and very quiet. PAX

Marlin 56 LeverMatic. Was my dad's gun. He gave it to me when I was 8. Since he was in the military, he would inspect the bore after I cleaned it, every time. I have nightmares of the smell of bore cleaner, running brushes/patches over and over & checking with a broken piece of mirror and flashlight to meet his standards! My kingdom for a BoreSnake then!

At the time there was a small military base at Santa Monica airport. He would drop me at the indoor range and let me plink there unsupervised for the entire day. Then we would go watch airplanes afterwards. Good times.

Still in my safe..

Competition CZ 457 MTR with Athlon ARGOS 10-40x56 and Timney trigger measuring 8 oz

457s are beautiful little guns. I just finished a really nice little build with a Leupold 3-9x, and even found some of the discontinued Leupold high rings for it. Came out great, but it's a real shame Leupold discontinued those embossed 3/8" rings for CZ. Nothing else I've found seems to compare in terms of quality or looks.

Can take out squirrels at 50-100 yds easy

So many neat rimfire rigs in this thread!!

I don’t know where to start.

I was on a .22 Short kick for a while (looking for guns chambered in .22 Short) so I’ll start with one of those.

Rohm RG-10 from Germany. Super inexpensive pot metal revolvers. Mine has the box and original receipt from 1966. $19.38 OTD, haha!!

Nice article here: https://gunmagwarehouse.com/blog/rohm-rg10-ramen-noodle-revolver/

Now to the exact opposite of the Rohm, haha!!

Walther OSP from 1966. .22 Short. These pistols utterly dominated Olympic 25m Rapid Fire until the rule change mandating .22LR in *I think* the early 2000’s.

The trigger on this pistol is insane. 1000g (2.2lb) and seemingly breaks on thought, haha!! I love that it’s compensated!! No recoil and no muzzle rise.

I think I need to start a Gofundme for extra mags, though haha!!

Ok, the metrics on my .22 Short postings have been through the roof, so of course I’ll share one more, haha!!

Hi Standard 1980 Olympic commemorative. .22 Short. This goes against my long standing prohibition of buying anything marked ‘commemorative’. But since I was chasing that .22 Short high, I got suckered into it, haha!!

Not much to say other than it’s got some gold plated bits and it’s based on the Model 107.

A couple of my rimfires I took out this afternoon. I had a few boxes of CCI Quiets I needed to empty. Might have to do it again tomorrow… Ruger American rimfire and Henry H100 Octagon.

Winchester 9422 Trapper. My LGS here in S.B. ordered this for my wife and I at Xmas time in 2000. His distributer in Texas had two left and I jumped on it because the Winchester catalog showed this model to be discontinued. Really for my wife but never fired it. Never has been to the range.20250203_100223.jpg

Two of my most prized 22 rimfires. Winchester model 61 pump and Browning auto 22 with the early wheel sight. Both rifles were made in 1957 and in excellent condition.

I love the plinkers, 1st rifle I ever owned besides a BB gun I got gifted on my 8th birthday was a single shot Sears Ted Williams model with a carton of shorts, showing my age talking about those rounds lol. I gave my brother my Marlin 700 that was scoped for distance shooting some years back once he bought property in the Olympic NW of Washington but I still retain a few that draws looks when I go to the rimfire range.View attachment 7096if I ever saw the uzi, I will take it within a heart beat. Just an awesome looking oneView attachment 7097View attachment 7098
