Feedback Open carry decision by 9th circuit.

So with this decision you know it will be held up in court for 3-10 years since the Commie state of California fights everything with Tax Payer dollars and Federal money. Do you think we will ever see it come to be reality?

I personally don't think it's a good idea, because you make yourself a target for idiots and a$$holes. I think they will get a left leaning politician in a black robe to put a stay indefinitely and fight it in court for the next decade. It wont even matter if Supreme Court makes a decision. They will just write a new law to violate our rights or continue to fight it.

Politicians don't care about the people, only getting a 6 figure salary with amazing benefits for life and doing whatever it takes to stay in office till death do them part. During that time they will become multi-millionaires pocketing our tax dollars through NGO's and kickbacks while doing insider trading and other forms of fraud and corruption.

Agreed, for the same reasons. It offers no tactical advantage in any situation I can imagine, with plenty of "social" downside.

Better to spend our energy, money, and votes to support pro-CCW advocacy groups, lawyers, politicians, and sheriffs that believe in 2A for all vetted, law-abiding citizens.

I don't understand why ANY pro-2A person would want the open-carry option available to the general public (as long as the CCW option is available to them on a fair and equal basis, across counties).

Open carry appeals to people with large egos who want to "make a statement". It invites conflict and controversy and provokes sketchy situations. If I remember correctly, the reason it was banned in CA last time is because pro-2A dumbasses were flaunting their "rights" and meeting up in large groups with their sidearms in places like Starbucks and scaring all the sheep and the Karls and the Karens out there...

This is probably why some would OC. This is sadly not true.

However, I can also see a benefit to those who want car-carry openly (in vehicle while traveling to out-of-state residents) similar to CO.
