Can I add optic on mos slide and light to my pistol after Qual ? IA is LAPD.
On things disallowed CCW- check the IA's Policy document. If you call or email them and ask- you might prompt them to create more policy.

Wouldn’t you be more confident in relying on an answer from your actual IA than something you get from random strangers on the internet? Why not call your IA and find out for sure?

Better to beg for forgiveness than ask permission in this case. No reason to contact them about a rule that doesn’t exist and give them a reason to make more rules. Not sure why people are even confused when there’s a literal CCW policy document you can read. It’s pretty cut and dry.

LAPD qualification form: no mention of anything other than manufacturer, model, serial #, and caliber
