Better to beg for forgiveness than ask permission in this case. No reason to contact them about a rule that doesn’t exist and give them a reason to make more rules. Not sure why people are even confused when there’s a literal CCW policy document you can read. It’s pretty cut and dry.

Fair enough. I’ll amend the second sentence to say: Why not call read your IA’s actual written policies and find out for sure?
 
Or, as was mentioned, you could do a little bit of homework and get all your questions answered.
