Optic Milling and Cerakote. Who do you like for both jobs?

I'm looking to have a gun milled for a 507 Comp optic and also Cerakoted (Slide and Frame).

I've used Primary Machine's services in the past and they are top notch, but it's a long wait.

Who do you like for max quality but faster turnaround?

No personal experience with milling, but I was at my lgs with a buddy the other day for a lot and he was asking the same question.

According to the shop owner, my buddy (Glock 19) was going to come out at the same cost or cheaper replacing the slide with one already milled.

I don't know if that's the case for your pistol, but it's something to consider.

You can ship your slide directly to them, but you’ll have to reach out to them about the frame. I’ve never sent a frame to them, but that would probably have to go through an FFL.

I would love to give Wager a shot, but they've confirmed that they do not work on the CZ TS2.

Tu does great work and his optic irons (patent pending) are truly innovative.

That’s surprising. They just milled my CZ PCR carry gun for a red dot. Awhile back, I had a Tac Sport slide milled by Cajun Gun Works. With their waiting list they might take longer than you want, though. Springer Precision’s red dot milling books are closed until September. Have you checked out Impact Machine yet? They do a lot of CZ work, and you could get some interesting slide cuts while you’re at it.

ive used primary machine (USP45 RCR), Vulcan (P220), and wright (HK45c RMR).

they all do good jobs with minor pros/cons vs each other--and all are around 6 weeks. dual hammer is fast. 2 weeks. and very good. and he's local to me.

Guncuts did my CBOB and I think was like 4 weeks turn around. they dont get a stellar recc from me only cause I had to get the CBOB re tuned after, which to be honest might be just cause its a 1911 and the weight of the slide changed.
