Hi all. Looking for recommendations… recently acquired P229 and love it, however, due to G10 grip it’s hard to reach trigger. Any recommendations on smaller grip.

Saw E2 online but no idea how it feels. Is there a local store I could check it out?

Thanks for the advice

E2 and short reset kit as well if it didn't come with it. game changer

Hey James, looong time. Hope all is well…

Yes, I replied earlier. You are the wealth of knowledge. Do you have any E2? Or other recommendations?
I might have a e2 grip im the parts bin.
I did just get a shipping notification for the short reach triggers so Ill have more on Wednesday

Assuming it was a used 229 you picked up? The only models from recent SIG production both had E2 grips on them, but it sounds like someone installed G10s. That also means you can check out how an E2 grip feels at any of your local gun shops with a 229 in stock.

Also, be mindful that if you look up SRT when it comes to SIG triggers, there are both Short Reset Trigger and Short Reach Trigger kits, both named SRTs (great naming conventions.....). The Grayguns SRT you mentioned is the short reset trigger, not the short reach trigger others were advising.

Yes it is the one. Thank you for clarifying and the suggestion.

P.S. I love this group everyone is great and helpful. Also would love to give previous owner kudos! Extremely helpful!

Thank you everyone!

Do you think there's any point to changing the stock trigger? I shoot it really well already

E2 grips. I don't like the skinny short-reach triggers because they pinch the pad of my trigger finger against the frame. But might work out for you if you need to shorten the LOP.

I just got the P229 and 226 short reach triggers in
