I just swapped grip module on my Sig P365 to the Wilson Combat P365XL. But now when in slide lock the mag doesn't drop freely. It drops fine when the slide it forward. Does anyone have a fix for this? I don't want to remove the mag disconnect as this is a CCW.

What does it being a CCW have to do with removing the disconnect? Your IA requires they be bone stock? Or you believe the ridiculous and entirely baseless myth that any modification will somehow turn a justifiable shooting into a murder charge?

Many Ca counties will not allow any modifications to your permitted weapon. Not based upon any myths just the way it is.

WC doesn’t make a grip mod with the md cut. Did you cut it yourself, buy a cut version from Sigguy, or have someone else cut it? It’s sounds like something is out of spec causing it to bind. I’ve had two WC grip mods, but I removed my md before I ever shot the gun.

yeah my IA doesnt allow safety/MD mods. if the gun came with a safety and MD it needs to have it. you can add optics change triggers etc, but if the gun came with a MD it's gotta have it.

as @mcnaugcl noted. the wilson grip isnt meant for the MD. so you need to have it modded/cut for the MD. which isnt difficult, but it has to be done

I have cut many P365 grip modules for the magazine disconnect or manual safeties.
My bet is on the MD cut not being done right.

In LA county I believe the rule is you can modify your pistol prior to taking the CCW training and qualification, but can't modify it afterwards.
