PCC Options

If I were buying one right now, I'd get the Ruger PCC. Currently have two of the Kel-Tec Sub2k's. One Gen 1, one Gen 2. Bought both of them for less than the price of a PCC and get the Gen 2 setup with some goodies.

Just get an AR9 pistol. You're gonna have to deal with the AWB 💩 but whatever. I think the easiest way to get one is to buy the Juggernaut JT-9 because they rostered it. Otherwise you're going to have to go the SSE route with an AR9 pistol lower.

There are some concerns users on this forum have voiced about the juggernaut receivers because they are billet which supposedly can cause the pin holes to lose material if you constantly take it apart. I personally haven't seen any guns exhibit that issue in person so I don't know how widespread it is, or how long it would take for that issue to show up. All I would say is to not constantly take it apart if you're concerned.
You do know SSE don't exist on AR9?
There is a big difference between AR15 and AR9, which allows someone to make it a single shot.
Even if someone says they have SSE AR9 lower, there is no way to make a SSE AR9 with a AR9 upper attached unless you maglock a 1-round mag.

Does anyone have experience with the Smith and Wesson FPC? I've got a boatload of M&P 2.0 magazines.

If they don't exist on AR9 then how are certain LGS transferring them through SSE? I'm aware of the difference between AR-15 and AR9 (the gas system block). There are absolutely ways to make an AR9 single shot and it doesn't involve mag locking a 1 round mag.

Upgraded my Ruger PCC parts for a mere $70, just to replace some plastic innards with more durable versions from Tandemkross. Great gun. Glock mags. You'd hate it I guess.

My Hi Point 995 PCC was $295, balances perfectly, super accurate, eats anything I feed it, gets cleaned every 2-3 trips to the range. One of the best gun purchases I ever made. Whatever other guns I take along it's always included.

People clown, but others swear by them.

The FPC has been great for me. Really awesome if you have the mags already
The homesteader also has a magwell that takes both M&P and P320 mags

From what I hear the one I shot has already spoiled me for that.

I have the fugly Ruger, but it’s less fugly now with the Magpul Backpacker stock I bought aftermarket. One thing I like is that it’s featureless without a weird fin grip, so it works as intended. It’s built like a tank and feels very solid. It’s surprisingly heavy, which I think adds to the beefy feel, but I kind of wish it were lighter. The takedown feature and Backpacker stock are cool in some ways, because you can store and transport it in a very compact form, and the stock has storage compartments for mags, ammo, and tools. But I think I’d probably prefer a non-takedown version in something like a Magpul Hunter stock, with more M-Lok slots and better sling mounting options. Overall, I like it and enjoy shooting it, but I don’t end up using it as often as my other rifles. Maybe I need to find an activity for it. I think it would be fun for shooting steel, which is not something I’ve been able to try with it.
