Range Report: Best groups of my life PDP & VP9K

One shot per second with that group size has me very happy. Got any videos of you rapid firing btw?

Stretch out fingers.
Adjust grip.
Shuffle feet around.
Squint.
Take aim.
Wobble.
Wobble.
Adjust grip.
Wobble.

Repeat.

Haha yeah… I wasn’t rapid firing but one shot per 1-1.5 seconds for the tighter groups. And I’ve never shot groups like that before

And shoutout to placer sporting club that lets me shoot like an adult, practicing super rapid fire and mag changes and CCW draws

All I did was change out the backstrap on the PDP compact but it’s even better! I’ve never stacked 6-7 rounds in one big hole like that before, except maybe with the P226. Range was about 6-7 yards. After I was shooting for a while I didn’t repeat a group that tight.

Then this was the second mag out of my brand new VP9K with the one headshot. Not sure if it’s because I didn’t clean and lube the gun before firing but I had one failure to feed with each of the brand new mags.

Same distance and also super thrilled about the groups and how they shoot. Walther HK supremacy!

Third was ten yards with the PDP I believe.

Get yourself some USPSA targets off Amazon. Get them all in the center A zone. Start at 5yards. Work up to 10, 15, 20.
Do drills like doubles, bill drills, singles focusing on dot/irons return.
Just go progressively faster till you can get them all in shooting 5 shots per second (.2 splits). Get a shot timer if you don’t have one.

Hunter is an M&P motherless . you can see at 5 it's like a 5 inch group but it's splits under .2 which is as fast as you can pull the trigger. Your "mag dump" almost certainly shows the gun moving in your hand to get a group that big so you can probably just work on grip and get a lot better.

Yeah it's almost like if you practice all the time you get pretty good! He should meet up at Laguna Seca, let's see if his lap times are as close to mine as my splits are to his shots LMAO.

Very, very nice!!! Well above I’d say 90–95% of CCW holders out there have.

That said, I think you’re still getting used to stuff. I noticed you’re resetting your grip after every shot instead of maintaining it through the string. Something to work on, but you’re definitely on your way to becoming a very competent shooter.

Then again, I’m not surprised. You’re comfortable racing at high speed on something that has about two credit cards’ worth of contact with the ground.
