(Ressurected & Stickied) What's your plan for your guns when you kick the bucket? Do you have a gun trust?

I have a very trusted friend who is a firearms savant. He has been entrusted to help my kids decide which they might want to keep and how to dispose of the rest. Any gun with any significance has its own tote with dies, bayonets, documents etc. the totes are clearly marked.
 
Kids. Offsprings.

Never too late to have kids, an offspring, someone to carry your family generations to the next, not letting your family bloodline die into dust.

Don't have a SO? Find a surrogate.

Also on side note. It's real loser-ish to not be a homeowner while having a gun collection. Having no home ownership, but lots of guns isn't a flex.

what? plenty of people don’t want kids or to own property. considering i’m having to drop a years worth of rent on my roof and soon a bunch more money on ac panel update and water heater relocation due to codes changes I get renting sometimes.

As a homeowners with a modest collection .... if I could do it again I wouldn't of bought a house and spent more time doing and buying the things I like then just paying into and repairing house issues....

Bold claim to say those people are in the wrong.

Owning a lot of guns is kinda a lot of work. Work I love to do nonetheless but still. The upkeep and maintenance and storage can be a lot. I’ll sell some over time at premium prices and the rest will go to my daughter and nephews and nieces.
 
TBH, my wife is in property management. A lot of her clients rent. Mind you: these people OWN homes that my wife's company rents out. Yet just don't want the hassle of taking care of all their own home issues anymore.

EDIT: Not to mention that most new home builds are trash.

I told two of my friends to grab whatever they want and then my wife will call Mt McCoy whom I have found to be a dependable selling resource. They will come over, pick up everything, and send her a check
 
GF is in the will and Trust to get the house and all possessions
If she dies first, and I don’t change my will and Trust, then my daughter and son-in-law will get it all.. they like guns
But I plan to slowly sell off my collection before I get too much more decrepit.
I will save the ones I know they like.
