I took Dynamic Pistol 3, and the instructor was awesome, sorry I forgot his name. Lots of precise information, and gave me lots of things to work on at home with dryfire and live training. Highly recommended, as long as you can shoot decently well already. Great price, great instructor.

I wish they could fix the plate rack with the pull string reset, in the steel gallery. I loved shoooting that thing.

I have their premium membership for myself and for my partner. I come go there weekly to practice and train. Sometimes bi-weekly with my partner and/or with other friends.

I recently used one of their rental guns and it was a smooth experience: You go to the counter and ask for the gun you want to rent, sign a waiver, leave your FSC and DL at checkin, and pay. But they require that you buy their ammo when renting their firearm. This is to prevent people from potentially damaging the rental with outside ammo. After you do all that, you head out to the range (in my case the Steel Gallery) and they will send one of their RO's to deliver the firearm to you. Once your 1 or 2 hours is up, you just flag down one of the RO's to return the firearm, head back to checkin to get your FSC and DL...and you're done.

I've taken a few classes and Caleb is always great. Unfortunately I email asking a question about a class and whoever answered the question told me if I had to ask, I should be taking that class. Pretty ty way to answer a question considering he had no idea of my shooting experience or what classes I had previously taken there or else ware. I just found other places to train, where I am not treaded like they are doing me a favor by providing training to me.

I get it, but the issue is steel-case ammo can have bad projectiles. Fires have been started many times due to these projectiles, and we are unwilling to take the chance to lose our beautiful facility. Like we are currently watching at Puri. Unfortunately, we will not change this stance.

I actually have a ton of bimetal in brass case. As well as a ton of steel case copper jacket and lead. A more effective stance would be to take a magnet to the projectile itself. Most ranges that take the stance on steel cases being the issue do so because they want your brass to reload.

You might believe it or not, but steel-cased ammo is often loaded with Bi-metal jacket projectiles. We don’t want to take any chances and end up on the hook for millions of dollars in fire damage.

I believe that bimetal projectiles are a problem. My statement stands that lots of steel case ammo is loaded with non bimetal projectiles. Winchester Americna Steel comes to mind. I also have a lot of 7.62.54R that is ik brass cases, but it also bimetal projectile.

Labor comes with checking ammo, and we are a high-traffic, busy range. No reason to invest the labor and put our property at risk for it.

I'll have to do more research on that one last I heard they still hadn't determined the cause but "shooting activity was suspected"
