The production suspension list appears to be based on distributor communications, I haven't seen official confirmation from Ruger. We should distinguish between discontinuing entire product lines and suspending production of current-gen models. Some may return with updated designs.

As for the acquisition rumor, I haven't seen any credible evidence that Colt CZ Group is buying Ruger or acquiring its product lines. The ownership change I'm aware of involves Beretta Holding, which announced a strategic cooperation agreement with Ruger and a tender offer to increase its ownership to ~25%. Serious investment - not an acquisition of Ruger.

What is your source for the Colt CZ claim?

Gonna be a lot of sad Wheel Gun enthusiasts but at least those that own any there value should retain or grow.

So basically Ruger will only be making LCPs, Max 9s, 10/22s, and Americans? That's pretty pathetic. I could see some of these, but PCCs and Blackhawks/Vaqueros are still very popular guns. Gp100s have gotten too expensive in recent years, they sold well when they were $650, but now they are the same price as a 686 with worse fit/finish and triggers, people just don't buy them anymore. Sad news for sure, hopefully they bring most of these back before too long.

So, my Ruger PC Carbine that has been a safe queen since I bought it. Might end up bringing a little (not gouging) higher price if I decide to sell?

Curious- if i need spare parts for my pc carbine, im SoL going forward?
Companies usually stock spare parts for a good while after production ends. Sometimes a 3rd party steps in to manage it. Probably a good idea to reach out to Ruger and ask about its plans are for replacement parts and service going forward
