I went yesterday to get some ammo at Saint Warriors in Milpitas (amazing service!) and looked at the S&W 360PD. It is unbelievably light. I found a few YouTube videos cautioning about the recoil, particularly with .357
Anyone here has any experience to share with that handgun? Thank you.

I own a S&W 340 chambered in .38 special, which was a predecessor to the .357mag S&W 360PD. On the positive side, it's lightweight, great to carry, and has a smooth double action trigger. Recoil with 38 +p ammo is manageable but at the upper end of what I'd want to shoot. Lightweight titanium revolvers in .357 are painful and difficult for me to shoot accurately.

Thanks Trapper. Maybe I should widen this thread to ask for people’s recommendations for very light carry pistols and revolvers.
A friend showed me today his Walther PPK and it felt great and looked gorgeous. Definitely looks nicer than polymer.

I've got a 340PD with a Titanium cylinder. It's a dream to carry and has a perfect DAO trigger.
It's brisk but manageable with +P 38 Specials (my regular load).
I tried some "reduced recoil" 357s once (several flavors). They all hurt enough that I worried it might damage my hand.
There's no way I'd ever shoot full-house 357s in that gun.

.38 fmj for practice and a little fun, can’t say it’s pleasant. .357 mag defensive ammo, pretty much point blank or you’re not even using the sights to aim. It will hurt, you won’t be accurate at distance, it doesn’t matter if you have to use it the person on the other end will be hurting more.

I don’t shoot it much for target. I can see it as a pocket gun but haven’t found it fun to carry on my waistband. Chose ultimately not to have it as a carry.
