I picked up a set of KSD wood grips for my Smith & Wesson M&P R8 N-Frame off Amazon for $59.99 and tested them out. Checked moments ago and they are actually $37.29 now 
Fit & Install: Direct fit, came with a screw that works fine (ignore the bad Amazon review about missing escutcheons). No modification needed.
Comfort: Surprisingly comfortable, even with full-power .357 Magnum loads. More slim and ergonomic than the stock Hogue rubber grips.
Shooting: Put ~250 rounds through them with no discomfort. Texture is grippy but not harsh.
Moon Clips: Slightly less clearance vs. Hogue, so reloads take a bit more precision.
Value: Hard to beat at $59.99 (now even less $), especially when their own site lists them higher.
Overall: Smash. Great balance of style, price, and comfort. Would recommend if you’re looking to upgrade your R8, TRR8, or other N-Frame wheelgun.
