Each manufacturer is different. Smith had stuff almost ready to go once they were on the roster. HK seems like they still can't get their act together...My guess would be 2 or 3 months for dealers to put in preorder and manufacture to start mass produce. Remember Walther PDP? Took me 4 months to get mine.
They hit the ground running when the P4 was added earlier this year, so they seem to have a good handle on being ready to ship in pretty short order. Each manufacturer is different. Since Scott said that they have 50 inbound, Staccato is probably already firing on all cylinders.
Yeah seems like their MO - be able to deliver shortly after roster addition. Since Scott said they're having trouble keeping up with production of the HD 4.5, it makes sense that we won't see it until later next year once things settle. They hit the ground running when the P4 was added earlier this year, so they seem to have a good handle on being ready to ship in pretty short order.
