I am going to keep an open mind on the V. Like my Glock but love my S&W. Also would love to see the shield X or the 5.7 added to the roster

Yeah I don’t get this. Glock goes for a much needed update and people are mad. Glock wants to prevent being sued into oblivion by state governments with unlimited funding and people are mad. Glock is a business so it makes no sense to virtue signal by going har har you anti gun commies ain’t gonna make us change perfection.

Gaston Glock made curtain rods in the 60s and then transitioned to knives in the 70s. He didn’t start making guns until he was 52 years old. So yeah, the Ron Popeil of the gun industry knew all about making product transitions to keep the money coming in. I’m sure the company he left behind will keep that tradition alive.

As for the Gen V, personally I'm excited for the upcoming new guns. I already own every Gen 3 Glock I want so there was nothing else to look forward to in terms of Glocks. The upcoming Gen V will finally give me new Glock options to check out.
