Why is no one fighting this ridiculous new law? I feel like starting a go fund me to hire a law firm to go after these a holes. How can they do this to unmarked un serialized parts. Enough is enough

It's likely that the plan is to implement rules about serializing barrels in the future, they are still planning to do microstamping. I don't see a lawsuit going anywhere though, the supreme court even in it's "Conservative" form that we have today has been amenable to regulation with recent cases that said that ghost gun kits were to be regulated as "firearms" and that CCW licensing is fully constitutional.

these laws obviously suck balls but what is there to do? the legislature passed SB 704 by 80%. Most middle class people who are the voting block in CA aren't gun enthusiasts, if a candidate says they want gun control the majority of voters agree because they see it as a safety issue. The ammo background check/magazine voter referendum from ~2016 passed with like 66 percent of the vote, so it's not just a matter of the legislature doing things that people aren't asking for, the vast majority of voters here want this stuff. If you have ideas though I'm all ears.

CRPA is your’e friend you might not think so or don’t like to donate to orginizations if that’s the case or seems like no one is doing anything... but you have to start somewhere.

Correct. They serialize barrels in Europe, and they are smart to do so because the barrel is the hardest part of a firearm to make and can't be 3D printed. Its a really effective gun control measure. Don't confuse my saying they are smart with agreeance, I'm just making the observation that if you really want to lock down gun sales and manufacturing, controlling the barrels is a must. Of course its un-constitutional, but as you mentioned the Supreme Court won't help us.
