SB452 is set to take effect in 2028

Apparently Gov. Newsome signed it yesterday to become a law .

What is your understanding and are you going to pay the rediculous prices of the off roster handguns to get them? Would you move out of state?? I loosely read the article and to me it seems like they alwant ALL handguns sold in California to have micro stamping regardless of being on the roster.

Does that mean we won’t be able to sell our pistols after that year without having micro stamping?

I would love to hear everyone’s take on this.

Unfortunately ca lawmakers know how to use the courts in their favor. Even if ruled against them they appeal.

Then if that fails make a new law just slightly change it rinse and repeat.

Key language seems, to my layman's eyes, to be "if...available", which has been proven repeatedly to not only be unavailable, but wholly unreliable. Granted, the criminals running Commiefornia rarely give a about things like "precedent" or "constitutionality", or "reality". And this will be slapped down, again, by SCOTUS. And the marxist s will appeal, again. Ad nauseum.

Hopefully I'm out of here by '28. Every day I wake up in this commie hole is one more day closer to me getting the F- out for good.

CRPA's suit against the Roster (Boland v Bonta) has an injunction against the microstamping in place right now, and they expect that will be a good basis for an injunction against the content of SB 452.
