I am a long time Santa Cruz resident, and for the most part I have been shooting up at Los Altos gun range, and Reeds in the Bay Area. Markley's has not had their range open in years from what I have heard.
I know that Scotts Valley has a small private range (Scotts Valley Sportsmen's Club) that requires "knowing" someone to become a member. Does anyone here know anyone local in the area that can hand out references/how to even get one? Or is it pretty much off limits for new members?
