I heard they are planning on bringing it to CA next year. But no exact time or estimate.

Very nice! Its a bummer the $2000-$3000 range is getting carzy. But pay to play as they say.

From what Sig told me the CA version won't have a comp or it will be integrated in the slide barrel. The current model uses a lugged style barrel and not OK in CA even for LEO's unless they are getting it as a duty AW firearm.

Kind of surprised dealers have been transferring them to LEO's and via PPT.

Im pretty sure that the comp on the barrel is set up identically to the Radian Ramjet that uses a tapered set screw to hold it in place. I couldn't find a single tear down video that included the comp removal but it sure looks to be that way. Also, somewhat mixed reviews on their guide rod set up, but FWIW that is tool less.

Its not like the ramjet.... its lugged and requires a quarter turn style motion. Think there is a allen that holds it in place. Like I said before, Sig viewed it as a problem for CA so working on a different version.

lugs are a problem - just ask Shadow Systems. They have a great comp but CA views those lugs as a threaded barrel under the current definition.

Yeah I had a PD who's officers ordered the Shadow Systems with the lugged comp. The department was cool and issued AW letters so the officers could still get them but thats not the norm on pistols.

This feels like a personal experience rather than a systemic failure. If anything Sig is known for pretty solid customer service experiences.
