Sig Launches the P385 (possibly to replace the P320 system). Any interest?

lol thank you for the support but I think I’ll be okay. Not sure I have lesser items in my safes. Can’t see the P385 taking the place of even my P226 x5 Legion when it comes to shooting fun.

Apparently prices start at $599 for the base model, $749 for the integrated comp and $899 for the Mach3D compensated model. This is for free state pricing though, roster models will most likely be somewhat more expensive.

Roster items align with free state pricing historically. Where the costs increases show up is a non-roster item via PPT.

Huh, I figured the additional requirements like the LCI and mag disconnect was what made them more expensive. Maybe I'm misremembering the MSRP prices for some of my guns from a few years ago then.
 
Technology is obviously moving towards automation. In that sense the 320 was ahead of its time. I'll stick with my 320 and its automation features
 
I’m realizing that I’ll get a P385 but it certainly won’t replace my P320(s). The more pistols I shoot, the more I appreciate it.

This checks out. Riflegear lists both the on roster and off roster Xmacro Comp for $829 which is $70 or 7.8% below MSRP.

I think we'll see the base model for $549.99 or $559.00 which isn't a bad price to take a flyer on even after taxes.

All because it needs to be certified by CARB for that particular application. All they do is make life expensive here for no good reason. How's it legal that this cat works good enough for the EPA/49 other states but not enough for CA... Such a sick twisted joke

Of course, that's why they went with the M9 over the Sig P226 despite the P226 performing better than the M9. Welcome to real life. In this case they got a great combo of price/features with the M18/M17. Did you have anything useful to say...?
 
Yes, the compensated one looks great. I was thinking about a 2011 or double stack 9, but I am thinking the 385 would be a better buy.
