For those of you that have been paying attention. I recently acquired an original Swiss Sig p210-4 German border guard gun with a low serial number dating to the first year of production 1951 for the D series of serial numbers.

So, my first name is David, and the serial starts with D, that’s cool. The second numbers are 03, I was born in March…03 month. Then the second set of numbers is 78, I was born in…you guessed it, 1978

Serial D0378

Crazy cool

I’ve always found it fun to find meaning in some of my serial numbers as well.
Bought a G19 Gen2 few years back of CalGuns and the serial numbers began with CGN, just like Cal Guns Net.
