Sig P385 rumored to replace the P320 system. Any intel out there?

Even from the silhouette I thought it looked liked the FUSE. Rather disappointing.

From thehighroad website there was more discussion on this. This pistol more sized in girth like a P320 with a beefed up 365 FCU was the essence of the discussion. We will know more tomorrow I guess.

If it has a hammer on it I would definitely buy one. I find myself feeling a bit more comfortable to see the hammer is fully down.

I thought the goal of the 365 fuse was going to be phasing over the 320, which it would have done tremendously.

Ohhhh. .45 ACP, in my life, I think I still have shot more .45 ACP than any other cartridge. Back in the early 1990s, I wanted both a 1911 and a P220. Eventually got both and shot the heck out of my P220 (as in over 10,000 rounds). Gun still looks great. Can’t wait to see the reveal.

It's Sig's "comped" slide design which is more of an "expansion chamber". Rather than the barrel itself being cut it's shorter than the length of the slide with only the front of the slide being "comped". It's the same design they use for the X-Macro comp and the AXG Legion slides

SIG's XRAY5 uses 225 digital zero positions. Its housing and paired FOXTROT2R light match the September 23 teaser, which very likely shows the P385.

Anyone here know how to figure out when a p365 was born? Just trying to see how far out it was since Sig addressed the trigger return spring failure. I like the gun, but that little bit always sat on the back of my mind.

Models come and go all the time. Why continue to produce a line that doesn’t have market confidence? Imagine Ford kept making the Pinto for 15 years just to show they don’t always kill people.

I do not disagree, but Sig continues to declare how safe the pistol is.
