Sig Sauer p211 GTO slides now in stock $849.99

If I had to guess it's because the GT5 and GTO both use the full length dust cover while the GT4 is shortened. I like the idea of being able to get a dual use sort of setup on the GT4 but if it's not compatible that's kind of one more reason to go with the GT5. I keep wanting the GT4 but logic keeps pushing me back to the GT5.
I actually dont see why the gto slide wont work on the gt4.

I found this photo of a GT5 and GTO slide compared to one another. Given the GT4 fits flush with the dust cover, I imagine it should be the same with the GTO slide just with the comp exposed.

Potential for comp rotation, maybe? I know its got lugs and has a set screw to hold it in place, but with the GTO being the full length dust cover the bottom of the comp rides inside the dust cover and has no real opportunity to rotate left/right.

Maybe, but if that were the case then the Radian Ramjets would be having rotation issues on the guns they make them for.

The GTO uses the same 4" slide as the GT4.
That's what I was thinking. Especially with Sig, lots of parts bin sharing across models so I don't see why they'd make a whole different slide just for the GT4. Would you be able to confirm fitment once you get a GT4 and the GTO Slides in stock?

I can do it tomorrow.
I have non CA gt4s and a GTO slide

On a different note - regardless of what Californians have said about the 320 drama or felt about Sig as a company with how they handled the fiasco, I suspect the 211 will still sell like hotcakes here. This is probably one of the best budget 2011s to hit the CA market.
Yeah you would always see comments like this on Reddit on any post about the 320. Regardless if the 320 had an issue or not, all of their hammer fired guns have been perfect the whole time so just buy one of those if you are that worried about it. As for the people who said they won't own or buy a SIG because of the 320, you really want to 🥐 yourself out of owning a P220? P226? Legendary workhorse guns that you aren't going to own because you don't like the current PR team for the company? 🤣

The guys whining about this stuff on Reddit enjoy talking about it more than actually using guns frequently
