That is true for the original LCP. The new LCP works just fine out to 25 yards. The LCP Max has great sights and is even easier to shoot. (But one must know how to shoot, which excludes most people.)

can confirm out here, lapd ia, accepts 22 on ccw.
as for on topic theres small, and then theres small reliable. i have my g27 and ruger sr22 under my smallest handhelds, with both about the same dimensions.
been carry my ruger lately cause its lighter and i recently was involved in an incident that injured my back- with that said, i opted for double-stack baby glock cause bigger capacity, tho the 27 is noticebly heavier [loaded + 2 cali mags cuz law].
googling: handgunhero [gun name] [gun name] yields their page results which usually has a neat comparison feature for realistic side by side dimension comparisons from multiple POVs!

3032 Tomcat is an extremely underrated gun. Very safe to carry as well due to double action first shot pull and a thumb safety.

Given SB2 and how often a CCW holder may potentially have to stow or don/doff their sidearm, either in the holster or alone out of the holster, a DA/SA external safety gun is pretty confidence inspiring too.

Yeah that's definitely a downside. I love my Tomcat, but yeah .32acp ammo is pretty expensive for what it is, and on top of that is pretty obscure these days so it's unlikely you will buy any other guns that use the caliber. Oh yeah did I mention that the ammo is about $35-$40 a box?

Curious why you are looking for "absolute smallest AND on the roster"?
I have a P365X that is very small, 9mm, and you can get the XL barrel and slide if needed. Not sure I would want/need anything smaller that that.
