Just curious to see how often do fellow gun owners get out there to practice/train. Pre 2009 I used to go out there a few times a month. Post 2009 it's about once a month mainly due to lack of time and ammo pricing.

For several years, I would expend about 5-10,000 rounds and countless hours yearly in shooting practice trying to improve on my competitive shooting skills.

But my real main purpose was not to win in competitions, I had no desire to, but to be very proficient with my guns as well as physical/mental exercise.

Nowadays it could be months that I don't get to shoot at all, as I spend my time on other things. Shooting practice is no longer a priority in my life.

I'm satisfied with the training I have had in the past and am quite confident of my skills now in my 50's (been shooting since I was a teen), so even a few times a year is good enough for me to keep the cobwebs out and have a good time with my guns.

Once a week. Usually on Friday afternoon to kick start my weekend.

About once a week since I got my CCW. When I made the decision to carry, I also committed to train regularly to remain proficient. I wanted to develop muscle memory with my draw and manipulations.

So, I became a member at Route 66 and try to go every Friday afternoon, even if it's just to shoot 100-150 rounds.

If you count dry fire, then almost every day (I do skip it occasionally). Between USPSA and Steel Challenge, I shoot a match every weekend. I go to the range for live fire practice at least once a week, and if you add trap shooting, then I’m typically shooting guns about 3 times a week.

You don’t have a survey choice for more than once a week.

‘Not enough’. There was a time I would get out to practice once a week and that then slowed to once a month but now it’s every few months. It’s terrible, I know, but I’m working on a plan to get out and drag the wife along.

Once upon a time I trained a lot and constantly. But now that I'm older, not so much. After 30+ years of training my muscle memory is good, my speed not so much anymore. Lol
I'm with you. I my eye hand coordination isn't as good compare to when I was younger so it takes a bit longer to get on target. Or I just need more practice. :D

What's the difference between training and just shooting?
Situational awareness, engaging multiple targets, induced stress (physical/time), draw from concealment / holster, using sound tactics, tac reloads, clearing rooms, classes, military / police style cqb training, shoot/ no shoot scenarios, hostage target scenarios, etc.

Until this June (had my ankle rebuilt and getting my neck fixed this Monday), I got out at least once a week. My schedule is usually 2 matches a month, a practice day with my BIL (retired USPSA GM), action pistol at Metcalf and/or CPRC. I should be back out again in a couple weeks.
