Does anyone have an accurate weight on the 4.5? Springfield lists the 4.0 at 24oz and the 4.5 at 23.9oz. Now I ain't no mathmagician but I feel like adding a half inch of slide and barrel would normally make the pistol heavier but is that just what it really is?

AI seems to think the 4.0 is 24.0-24.7oz and the 4.5 is 26.2oz

That seems more reasonable but sorry I only have the 4.0comp so can’t weigh one for you

yeah I mean that's what I would expect, a 2-3 oz difference, it's always possible they designed the slide to be lighter though and it is actually the same. For instance the M&P 5" slide itself weighs the same as the 4.25, it's only the longer barrel that makes it weigh slightly more

Looks like the AI response I got pulled from this site https://www.thearmorylife.com/battle-of-the-comps-echelon-4-0c-vs-4-5f/

That’s comp vs comp. 24.7 vs 26.2. CA version with non comp will be slightly heavier from the lack of holes in barrel/slide and the couple extra tiny CA compliant bits, but should be about the same ratio.
