Staccato 3.6 vs 365 X Macro for CCW - Side by Side

Glendale PD
It’s so mind blowing to me that there is no consistency between IAs with regard to a CALIFORNIA CCW permit. The damn card reads that it’s a permit to CCW “within the state of California” so the IAs should not be able to arbitrarily restrict permit holders from carrying an off roster pistol that is otherwise legally owned and registered.

unfortunately it's state law that it's administered by local jurisdictions. Could actually be worse if the state decided the rules though

Very true, definitely could go the wrong way in a hurry. I’m fortunate to live in a jurisdiction that isn’t as stringent as many others, so I count my blessings. Really sucks for those who aren’t as fortunate.

Same, and yes

It is an oddity. But at the same time probably for the better altho yeah leads to peculiarities specific to the IA. Again. Would remember and consider (everyone can value judge this for themselves). IF you are involved in a shoot, your involved gun is going to be seized indefinitely (until resolved) so having a harder to replace off roster gun may not be the best idea. Factored into my thinking anyways
