Hello all,

Does anyone have any experience properly fitting a Staccato C (2024) w/ SF X300UB into a Safariland 6000 series holster? I've heard the 6390 works but I have a friend who says it doesn't. 10-8 Performance on youtube says his works in a 6354RDS but I can't find the exact model that's supposed to fit a staccato. Safariland's code guide is helpful but lacks information specific to Staccato handguns. My search through the web really doesn't solidify any options or opinions.

I'm surprised companies haven't made more "tactical" holster options yet... but Shotshow is just around the corner so maybe they're waiting? Anywho... any insight would be greatly appreciated.

SO... bottom line, my 2024 C running the X300 (with Acro) fits great, and has zero rattle. In fact, the holster was previously used with a P + RMR and X300. Without an SRO to eyeball, I can't be sure how that would clear the top side optic opening.

With that being said, for perspective:

The 6360RDS holster I have is/was originally intended for use with XC + X300U-A, RMR.

It has the newer style pistol optic cover that is square shaped to accommodate the Acro. Previous 6360RDS holsters had a sloped, minimalist cover that is sufficient for the RMR, DeltaPP, Romeo1Pro etc style optics.

I can't be sure, but I'm not aware of a current 63xx series holster that will accommodate the SRO due to its tall profile. The open style of the 6390 holster seems to be slightly more generous in the optic opening, but not by much. Mostly, the 6390 eliminates the retention strap mechanism.

From my side-by-side comparison, the 63xx series holsters that accommodate the Staccatos within 5 inches, to include the XC, P, C, C2 etc all seem to utilize the same holster body, and only differentiate by muzzle length. This is done by altering the muzzle barrel guide/holster bottom cap enclosure (next to the weapon light cover/cap). The shorter the muzzle, the longer the holster's muzzle guide is, to reach upward and accommodate the extra space. The weapon light length is what is determining the overall length of the holster, in order to fit the different compatible popular lights: X300, TLR series, etc. As we know, most of the time, the weapon light is what is extending beyond the muzzle, or at least, come flush to the muzzle.

(By the way: the Acro sits snugly within its holster molded hood + cover without any direct contact. The SRO would have NO chance of clearing. Acro height is 1.2" vs SRO height 1.345", not including the adapter plate thickness.)
