I got really lucky on here and bought my Staccato P off of @chino1966 for 2800 even. It didn't come with any optics, no lights, no mags, just the bag, the optics plate for the RMR/SRO, user manual and miscellaneous promotional Staccato stuff. Since buying it and picking it up a little over 2 months ago, I've gotten an SRO for it, I put a Surefire X300T on it and I got a bunch of Staccato mags for it. So I paid well over 3500 and probably close to 4k just to get it to where I wanted. So I kind of understand why these sellers are charging the prices they charge. Because they don't want to lose any money and so they are putting the value that they think its worth plus how much worth they put into it themselves. But that's not how you do things. Anyways, I got really lucky because I was in the market for a Staccato P and I was prepared to pay well over 3000 dollars for one and was genuinely surprised at finding such an amazing deal. And that's the thing with our community and the way the off roster market works, we're not the ones in control here. The exempt individuals and the law preventing us from having modern handguns without stupid gimmick features that make the firearm more unsafe are the ones in control. Now certain items like Glock Gen 6s being priced over 2k, obviously no one is going to buy a brand new Gen 6 Glock at over 2k. It's not even close to its value and you'd be hard pressed to find someone who would pay that amount. Despite this, you still see people charing 1800 for Glock 45 Gen 6s. Why? Because its a good starting point for the sellers and if they get someone to agree to that price, they get what they want. But usually with time and lots of responses from different people. sellers are willing to go down a bit. And that same concept applies to sellers with Staccato Ps, a LOT of Staccato Ps are priced WAY too much. A Staccato P's MSRP is 2499.99 base model without any of the extra sh*t and then when you add mags, a flashlight, an optic, and the tax, it goes WAY over 3k. So yeah, learn to ignore the idiots who sell their Staccato Ps for over 3500-4000 dollars, I don't care how special your Staccato is with LAPD markings or whatever, its not even close to that amount. You're better off going to 2A Zone and buying a SSE Atlas or Nighthawk at that price. You just learn to filter out the bad listings from the good listings. You'll eventually find one, trust me. And whatever you do, DON'T go into FFLs looking for a Staccato P unless you want to get f*cked so hard, the two gun stores I saw a Staccato P in their consignment sections were selling them for over 6000 dollars. It's not worth it. Just be patient. Trust me.Are the staccato Ps listed here overpriced? Or fair market? I see some for 3500 with no optic or lights, sometimes no magazines either. Not sure if there price fairly or not. Let me know what everyone's thoughts are! Just want to know what is a fair price to pay for one.
I don’t think the 2K 11 is officially on the roster yetJust get one of the new on roster 2011's like P211 or 2k11
patience grasshopperI don’t think the 2K 11 is officially on the roster yet
people still buy them and its the gun people are least likely to sell out of their collectionwhat makes you say that?
Oh believe me I have patience. I’ve already put a deposit on one a few months ago.patience grasshopper
This is subjective, but like most guns with demand and limited supply some people are asking way too much. Patience is key, I got my P, XC, & CS all at cost or slightly above without a bunch of off roster markup. Are the staccato Ps listed here overpriced? Or fair market? This week i tried to order a steel magwell and a steel main spring housing.
Staccato, dawson precision and Ben Stoeger all told me they absolutely "WILL NOT SHIP TO CALIFORNIA"
***edit, added info***
Staccato/Dawson Precision told me to use Speed Shooters.
I had already ordered from Shooters Connection.
So i guess it depends on the last time you ordered, I tried yesterday.
