Strangest gun designs

I say that the physics are pretty limiting when it comes to geometry, such that any gun is basically forced to at least look like a gun: it needs a barrel, handle, and trigger and there are only so many reasonable ways for those three things to go together.

Slamfire shotgun made out of a piece of pipe doesn't have a trigger or a handle. Just a piece of pipe. Two pipes where one fits inside the other loose enough to slide and that holds a shell in place. Larger pipe has a little something protruding from the inside at just the right spot so when you slam the one down inside the other, the protrusion hits the firing pin and sets off the powder charge. Looks like a pipe. Deadly.

I'm having a small debate with a friend of mine:

He insists that there have to be some really strange gun geometries out there, something that's barely recognizable as a gun but still fires.

I say that the physics are pretty limiting when it comes to geometry, such that any gun is basically forced to at least look like a gun: it needs a barrel, handle, and trigger and there are only so many reasonable ways for those three things to go together.

Regardless, what are the strangest looking guns you're aware of? What are the weirdest and funkiest designs out there? Let's see 'em!

I could easily post photos of my several Mateba Unicas, Semmerlings, Sommer & Ockenfuss rifles, COP-4s, JoLoArs, a duck foot, belt-fed Robinson Armament M96, an August Schuler Brevet pistol, AK based shotguns, Harpoon guns, Knife guns, Liberators, Martini match rifle, Calicos, among others, etc. but they still all look like guns.

So my interest would be the same as what the O/P was expressing, hoping to see some really obscure designs that are not readily apparent as firearms like those I cited above. Maybe there's something out there I've never heard of or seen, something so obscure it's one of only a few made and it sits in a cagunner's personal collection.

Can you think of or have any such creatures to share?

I don't think OP had any intention of keeping the topic ONLY directed towards guns that don't actually look like guns, and was simply describing a conversation he had with a friend. If you want to participate, right on. If not, that's ok too, but if we only post guns that don't look like guns, the thread will be over almost as soon as it starts.

I don't think OP had any intention of keeping the topic ONLY directed towards guns that don't actually look like guns, and was simply describing a conversation he had with a friend. If you want to participate, right on. If not, that's ok too, but if we only post guns that don't look like guns, the thread will be over almost as soon as it starts.

German belt buckle gun - castle gun.
Apparently not or German, but likely a post war oddity.
You would raise your hands in defeat, but a string up your sleeve opened the buckle presenting 2-4 spring loaded barrels that would automatically fire.
