Hey @OmOpLaTa , saw this and thought you might want to check it out:
I appreciate the suggestion bro, it looks like an awesome rifle and a nice deal. However, I found a good deal on gun broker for a walnut loaded model and ordered it last night! Total out the door price is going to be about $1,992.84. Now I gotta shop for a sling, flash hider with bayonet lug, 20 round mags, and a cleaning kit!!

That's awesome! Sounds like you got exactly what you want!

A receiver with machine pic sections would be ideal, but they all seem very expensive. From what I’ve seen online, the Sadlak and arms #18 seem the most popular. Sadlak has a lot of versions.

Sadlak seems pretty well-regarded online. I wish I could use the irons, but my eyesight doesn’t do well with irons. It’s too bad because the rifle is really made for irons, not optics.

Do you know who makes that mount? Sounds like one to avoid.
It was an Amazon copy of the Kensight.

I want a walnut Scout Quad.

That’s what I went with. Fantastic rifle. I did have some trouble with the factory pic rail that’s mounted up front on the barrel when I installed a Burris long eye relief scope. It’s mounted on a round surface (the barrel) so it’s tough to get it perfectly level. It also gets hotter than the sun and that heat transfers to the scope. I went with an Ultimak heat shield/ rail. Solved all my problems. However it did add some front weight though, but I mostly shoot prone or bench so it doesn’t matter.
