Well done!A Bodyguard 2.0 Carry comp ca showed up at my FFL today. They just got one and I snatched it up.
Both have their pros and cons and it depends on what mode of carry you intend to use.I checked with 2A Zone on day one and they didn't have the gun in their system yet. I'm definitely gonna pick up a BG 2.0 and am considering the Carry Comp vs. the regular.
Yeah I'm leaning toward the non-comped.Both have their pros and cons and it depends on what mode of carry you intend to use.
For pocket carry the standard is better, as a get off me gun you're probably not using the sights much anyways and if you do, it's sufficient for the distance you'll likely be using it at. The recoil is reportedly already flat, the compensator helps even more but with the risk of hot gasses and debris flying up at your body/face if you have to shoot it close to the body or from the hip if wrestling with your attacker.
For AIWB the longer slide of the carry comp is better as it helps prevent tip out. I agree the sights are also better but if you put a red dot on it like the one from viridian or Gideon (imo the better choice) then the better iron sights don't really matter since you are removing the rear sight anyways.
*wonderingWas just wandering when these would be added! Thanks S&W!
Why? The safety on the shield and bodyguard is perfectly small and does not click on.Why don't they make an extended safety for the bodyguard guns? No aftermarket either
Thanks.*wondering
Wandering is traveling aimlessly with no directive or explicit destination.
This seems like the best optic for the BG 2.0, only one that is flush fit with the slide, side mounted battery, and built in backup rear sights. For those who have or are about to have a BG 2.0, the Gideon "Pebble" open-emitter optic announced at Shot Show sold out almost immediately. I have been watching their site for the restock and they now have them in-stock both Red and Green!

P.S. Yes it will mount on the CA LCI version

How does it mount? I thought bg 2.0 isn't optic ready? For those who have or are about to have a BG 2.0, the Gideon "Pebble" open-emitter optic announced at Shot Show sold out almost immediately. I have been watching their site for the restock and they now have them in-stock both Red and Green!

It's not, it utilizes a dual post that replaces the rear iron sights via the dovetail mount, which is why having built in backup rear sights is nice. The optic screws into those double posts. How does it mount? I thought bg 2.0 isn't optic ready?
Have the carry comp and shot the BG 2 Non. Definitely go carry compAnyone gotten some range time with these yet? I've been waiting for my local store to get both models in, I can't really decide if I want standard or PC model
The barrel is only slightly longer, and the grip is a bit longer as well. I have both, both fit in my pocket holster no problemcarry comp makes it too long for pocket its a 380 there is no recoil
