In case anyone is looking, as the topic comes up somewhat frequently.

In a brief look it appears it costs more than some other plans for the collection lost/stolen style insurance but it's another option and options are always good. The liability and instructor plans look pretty decent.

The instructor plan is what I use for Range insurance. Thanks for brining this up. I think the site is large enough now, I contacted them to see if we might be able to put something together for California specifically.

What would you like to see in a package?

I use Collectibles for my firearms insurance and a policy covering 200k in guns and accessories is significantly cheaper than what it looks like this company would charge. $187 for a 15k policy is quite high. Mine is on autopay so I don't recall exactly what the annual cost is but it's in the ~600/yr realm. My ammo isn't covered, and I'll probably up the coverage when I renew this year since I live in a fire prone area.

I did not look to see if Lockton requires serial numbers. Collectibles does not.

I have no input on liability insurance, I have other policys and an umbrella which cover those.

Wasn't there an attorney member here who was working on a liability coverage plan? I don't want to step on toes there either.

Like you said it’s good to provide options to people.

If we have enough people we can try to work with companies but we just have to be big enough to make a change

Yep. I'm open to changing if a better policy comes up, or even a similar one that caters to CA specific customers, and the instructor and liability policies are great options for thise who need them.

Probably not different, but just guessing. I didn't know NRA had found a new place to offer insurance. Several years ago they stopped.

Considering how many younger and newer shooters are so anti-NRA, a different nexus even if for the same product is probably good.

I think an AMA would be great, especially if folks could send in questions ahead of time.

I'll try to get this setup.. It's actually a great idea and something we can work with to build a plan for the membership here.

Since AII is an enumerated civil right, the government should force all Americans to pay for my gun insurance. Also buy me guns and ammo too. Single payer firearms coverage. Also should pay my workers compensation bill because that’s healthcare.
