At the same tolken, all the garbage here is rolled out in plain view. Makes it hard to filter through and find actual relevant & useful info.

Funny, there was a whole bit about Token (the one black kid in a white friend-group) on South Park really being named Tolkien (like the author), where Stan and others were horrified that they've been calling him "Token" all these years. Now you've erroneously swapped "token" and "tolken", probably by accident. Somewhere, there's a rip in the spacetime continuum.

I do think it's useful to discuss why a site doesn't work so the powers-the-be here know what NOT to do. They already know, but I'm sure it's been discussed. This is important for anything really...knowing what doesn't work helps us to avoid repeating past mistakes.

I'm a Gold Star CAgunner...never had to deal with the old place.

I was shocked at how outright neurotic and psychotic some of the common posters had become over there. Obsessed with furries and offended by everything. It was surreal
 
i signed up at that site in 2024 under the name MK6 for the marketplace there. it started to malfunction and would not load the site. after some time i gave up. i tried again in recent times and that is how i ended up here. there was a link from that site to this site. i tried to log in to the old site, and it says that i do not exist there, i am not sure why but because of that i am here

It's worthwhile to see if that's where you enjoy. I always told them we would be sending people back. They may call you a liberal trans karen, but just mention how much you hate the mods being woke libs and you'll be welcome. ;)

Towards the end of their demise, the forums on cal guns became so freaking toxic because there were too many damn trolls in there. And sadly the mods were worthless in controlling those people, yet they wouldn't hesitate to suspend you for a week for telling somebody that you think that their price is too high on a item they're selling even though you were nothing but courteous in the way you said it

A buddy of mine who I met on calguns moved to Vegas and now uses the website Nevada shooters. I went on there and browsed through the classifieds and was absolutely stunned at how cheap you can buy some firearms. None of this California off roster price gouging bull💩

when I lived in vegas, i could walk into that gun shop on blue diamond road and buy a mack 10 with a suppressor off the wall for 1200$. that was back in 2007. that was also when blue diamond road was empty

Things have certainly changed. In California if you even think about buying a Mac 10 the thought police will kick in your door and seize all your property

I moved to Reno in 1990, there was so many gun stores it was insane, lots of old Mom & Pop gun stores with many of them having class 3 firearms on tri-pods. The amount of guns shows was also crazy, there was the monthly Reno how at the event center, the Big Reno gun show at the Hilton 3 times a year and the Crosswinds show at the event center next to the Atlantis also 3 times a year.
During the spring & summer all the small towns would have one, was amazing the deals one could find at any of them.
